Sisu Shama Background Pack 1

This is volume 1 of my experimental backgrounds, which are all for free use. I painted and adjusted them in Procreate. I use these all the time to enhance or complement my pictures. Here are some examples of how I have used them below.

The textures and backgrounds can be used for personal or commercial use(commissions etc but please read warnings first) but DO NOT resell these files.

Warning: 

Depending on the printer used, it may not print the colors properly, as they are neon, saturated,bright and fluorescent. I used this on CYMK on my sister’s inkjet hp printer. These images may cause eye strain or headaches for photosensitive viewers. Please do a test print if you decide to use these in printed work or the results may be disastrous. Here is an example of the bookmarks I printed out. I have printed with professional book printers and my colors have come out decent, but test before mass printing please.

A)I saw what looked like your backgrounds reposted:

The beauty of abstract of digital art is that all of it has pieces and traits and characteristics of eachother even when they are made by completely different people(even when it's 3D)! Especially when they all use the same layer effects, modes, filters, gradient maps, adjustments, curves etc. Maybe they sample eachother, maybe it's a coincidence. A lot of my pieces only took a few minutes to make so there's bound to be lookalikes. 

B) Is there anything you DON'T want others using these backgrounds for?

Please just don't take my original files and resell them somewhere else. I can't always stop or catch it, but they're hurting the people they scam who could be enjoying these for free. Another thing is please do not just edit these minimally(cropping, flipping, rotating,changing hue slightly) and claim them as your own. It's fine if you want to repost or use it on the cover of books, albums and t-shirts etc, but don't just blatantly take it and submit it and take credit for a different publication, gallery or contest. It's deceptive. The only exception is if you actually put effort and time into editing, remixing and collaging, but just mention that is what the medium is if you decide to do that.(a collage, edit, remix, mixed media)

C)How do I use these to enhance my art? 

There are countless ways.. but I'll just say what I do! You can add them as a layer on top or under your drawing in different modes to create lighting, shading or texture effects. You can use it as a background of your character, or color a specific part(their eyes, jewelry, clothes). It can be used to fill text or color the lineart. There's no need to credit if it's used for your art, but if someone asks what you used, it'd mean a lot to me if you linked or mentioned my packs :)
